Your assignment:

Day One

  1. Choose one of the verbs from your class list. Try to imagine an image that would help make the meaning of your phrasal verb clear.
  2. Go to the site  www.toondoo.com/ and sign up for an account by giving your name, email address and creating a password.
  • Look at the example above. To bottle up your feelings is to keep them inside and not let other people see them. That's what the author tried to make clear with the picture.
  • Using toondoo.com create the image you had imagined and embed it here.
  •

    Insert your Toondoo images here:

     Day two

    1. You will now see your image and those of your classmates' in Voicethread, below.
    2. Look at all the images in the voicethread and choose at least two images created by other participants, then write the meaning of the phrasal verb in your own words in the typed comments space.
    3. After that, you will post at least two sentences, with each of the phrasal verbs you chose, created by yourself in the voice recorded comments.
